It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Suzy Aronstam, a Director of Future Thinking, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 18th June, after a period of illness.
Suzy rose to become Managing Director of the Communicate division in the London office and worked for the company for nearly nineteen years, joining in the summer of 1998 from MORI (now Ipsos MORI) where she had worked for three years. Prior to MORI, Suzy started her market research career at Research Quorum, spending two years at their Basingstoke office. Suzy specialised in advertising, media and brand research and was highly regarded in the industry.
Suzy graduated in 1991 from Oxford Brookes University with a BA (Hons) in Business Administration & Management.
Jon Priest, CEO of Future Thinking said: “The news of Suzy’s passing is unutterably sad and our thoughts at this time are with Mike, their two children and close family.
Suzy was a fantastic market research professional; skilled, diligent and fiercely loyal. She was both hugely respected and liked by her clients and the wider Future Thinking team. Everyone here loved Suzy and her passing, particularly at such a young age, has shocked and saddened employees, ex-staffers and clients alike.
We will all miss Suzy enormously”
Suzy is survived by Mike Garvey, her long-time partner and her two children, Samuel and Jacob.
A funeral service for Suzy will be held on Wednesday, 28th June, Crawley Crematorium, at 4.30pm.
