The recent launch of Apple’s HomePod got us thinking about how the uptake in usage of smart speakers and Voice UI impacts on consumer behaviour.
So we undertook a small study with and UK nat rep sample to help us understand which devices consumers are using and what they’re using them for.
It’s likely to come as no surprise that Voice Search is the thing that people are currently using Voice UIs for the most. For brands this means ensuring that websites and products are all Voice SEO optimised, so that when consumers are searching for them using voice commands, they can be easily found.
