On Thursday 2nd March, two of our most senior representatives from the Future Thinking retail & leisure team will be presenting findings from a recent research study at the ALVA council meeting at Wembley Stadium.
Senior research director, Noreen Kinsey, will take to the stage alongside research director, Julie Vigne to discuss barriers and drivers of visit for different visitor attraction types, identifying different levers of engagement for key groups from non-visitors to frequent visitors and members.
Other speakers at the event will include Tracey Crouch MP, Minister for Tourism, Heritage & Sport and the Department of Culture, Media & Sport.
ALVA is the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions. Its members are the UK’s most popular, iconic and important museums, galleries, palaces, castles, cathedrals, zoos, historic houses, heritage sites, gardens and leisure attractions. They comprise over 2200 tourist sites, hosting over 119 million domestic and overseas visitors each year – around 28% of the visits made annually in the UK.
Future Thinking will publish results from our latest annual Retail & Leisure barometer study over the coming months. If you have an interest in this research, please contact mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
