Senior Research Executive (Healthcare)

This is an opportunity to join our growing “Personal Wellbeing/Pharma” (PWB) team with clients in pharma, consumer healthcare, public sector and the charity sector. It will allow you to learn innovative techniques originated in one sector that can be applied to another. You will be working directly with our clients to develop and implement customised research projects to fulfil their business needs. Although the majority of your focus will be in pharma, you will be part of the wider client servicing centre which will expose you to a wide array of client engagements across other healthcare related fields, so a flexible approach to learning and development is also required and would allow you to develop an overview all around healthcare

 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

1.    With support of the wider commercial and delivery teams, communicate with clients to understand and document their objectives, regularly checking in on these moving parts during the process of delivering the project.

2.    Deploy the most appropriate research techniques, collaborating with colleagues to include additional expertise when appropriate e.g. Qual/Quant, Data Analytics.

3.    Design research questionnaires and moderator guides as necessary.

4.    With Directors, oversee fieldwork initiatives as necessary.

5.    Charting quantitative data into meaningful and easily digestible visuals under the supervision of the pharma team.

6.    Strive to interpret data, drafting reports including actionable recommendations and insight, overseen and supported Directors.

7.    Ensure work is in compliance with the Company Quality Manual, MRS and BHBIA codes of conduct, and data protection legislation

 

Key Objectives:

1      Design research plans, optimising resources available to improve client offering e.g. Qual/Quant, Data Analytics.

2      Contribute a considered opinion and insight towards the Division’s presentation of research findings for clients. 

3      Partake in wider company initiatives to help drive the business and make Future Thinking an engaging place to work including sharing learning and proactively seeking out development opportunities.

4      Ensure research is delivered within the BHBIA, MRS and ISO Guidelines

 

Ideal background

You will be a graduate, ideally in a life science discipline, with 1-3 years of experience in a market research field. You will have a passion to learn new skills and solve problems for clients based on your creative thinking.
