Senior Research Executive, Brand and Comms

London or Oxford

We’re now looking to add a Senior Research Executive to our team. You will be based in the Communicate (Media) team, working from our London or Oxford office. Our research focuses on a broad range of topics including brand and comms effectiveness, understanding the role of technologies, customer experiences, segmentations and content/product development.

The kind of work we cover is both UK based and international and includes:

  • Marcomms effectiveness such as TV sponsorship evaluation, advertising evaluation from posters to radio and VOD
  • Brand tracking for media clients
  • Brand partnership evaluation
  • TV channel tracking and brand health
  • Market understanding and segmentation for technology providers
  • Customer experience tracking
  • Content/product development

The new recruit will split their time across tracking and adhoc research with opportunity to get involved in range of projects across the division.

Who are we looking to employ?
We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, ambitious and keen to develop their career.  Our new recruit needs to have great attention to detail and a strong grasp of the basic principles of research. We need someone who is organised and who can manage the complexities of tracking at all stages of the research.  We are looking for a strong team-player with an interest in brands and marketing communications. We need a minimum of 1-2 years research agency experience, preferably with some experience of – or at least a strong interest in the media or advertising sector.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

  1. Execute support role within projects via basic research, project management, information sharing & processes.
  2. Ability to take responsibility for report/ presentation creation, ensuring accuracy of data & other logistics related tasks.
  3. Ability to work with suppliers & different departments within the company including our PM Team, Data Processing, Creative Services and Field.
  4. Display an active interest in client development, and proactively suggest ways to improve our processes and deliverables.

Key objectives:

  • Day-to-day management and delivery of research projects, getting involved in every aspect of the project from set up and questionnaire writing to analysis and presentation development.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Attendance at regular meetings and debriefs with key clients.
  • Working alongside other members of the Communicate team and wider Future Thinking employees to deliver projects of a consistently high standard.
  • Taking an active interest in client development, and proactively suggesting: ways to improve our processes and deliverables
