As Research Director within Future Thinking you will focus on key accounts within our specialists arenas and bring innovation and support to New Business Development building on vertical growth and client relationships

Key tasks & responsibilities:

  • Management and development of client accounts at a strategic level employing key account management strategy & techniques including consultative selling.
  • Ensure all research practices comply with the Company Quality Manual, MRS code of conduct and data protection legislation
  • Drive and oversee all client deliverables to ensure they are delivered on time and to specification
  • Provide account direction and advice to the research team
  • Overall responsibility for the development of the team’s skills and experience base to ensure we have motivated staff and satisfied clients
  • Work with Senior Research Directors and Divisional MD to help monitor and review vertical performance against budget
    Business development and innovation to support vertical growth opportunities (both new and within existing accounts).

Key objectives:

  • Ensure continued retention of key accounts
  • Devise and implement a business plan for the growth of the vertical
  • Continued development of the research & business insight offering to ensure FT remains innovative and relevant in the market place
  • Provide quality assurance to clients and prospects in accordance with the company Quality Manual measurable through annual external independent audits.
