We’re now looking to add a Marketing Assistant to our team.  The successful candidate will be based in our Oxford office.  Salary POA.

Who are we looking to employ?

We’re looking to add a Marketing Assistant to our team. You will be based in our Oxford office, with some occasional travel to other offices and report to the Head of Marketing. We are looking for someone with confidence, enthusiasm and initiative, who can provide assistance across all areas of marketing; from campaign and website management to social media activity and copywriting. You will need to be resourceful, have an eye for detail, experience of working in an office environment and be confident in providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the team. We are looking for someone sociable, out-going and a strong team-player. Perfect for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years office admin experience you will ideally be keen to establish a career in marketing.

Your role

Your role would be to support marketing and where necessary business development on a day to day basis across the company. You will also be working closely with our Creative team. Key areas of focus include:


  • Administrator of client/prospect marketing database
  • Work across all teams to support the development and delivery of all marketing communications across the company (internal & external) using our email marketing and CRM tools

Business development & KAM:

  • Working alongside business development to support the function in terms of organising and scheduling meetings, delivering pitch materials and other supportive deliverables.

Social Media and PR:

  • Assist with developing/updating the PR plan including social media activity
  • Identify, support and maintain relationships with press (research, industry specific and nationals) to maximise coverage
  • Help to work up ideas for synopses and associated press releases
  • Input into the social media strategy for Linked In & Twitter and other emerging and relevant platforms
  • Manage social media platform updates / interactions / responses to maximise reach

Conferences & events:

  • Manage the exhibition calendar; identifying events to present at/attend
  • Work alongside research teams to deliver range of industry focussed breakfast seminars
  • Identify and manage sponsorship/speaking/attendance/networking opportunities at industry events

Website management:

  • Maintain and update the Future Thinking websites with regular blog posts (using WordPress CMS)
  • Produce monthly web-stats reports using Google Analytics
  • Manage domain renewals


  • Manage day to day financials for the marketing team (PO’s, invoicing)
  • Manage booking and renewing of all subscriptions/memberships/event attendance/sponsorship/speaking opportunities etc
  • Manage general website email enquiries (

What we want from you

  • Good working knowledge of MS office applications (word, excel, ppt essential)
