Consumer Insight Research Assistant Seconded to a Major, Global Fast Food Brand

You will be working within the business insight team at the UK headquarters of one the most recognised brands in the world. Our client operates in what’s known as the informal eating out market (IEO); places where you can get a prepared meal, light meal, snack or beverage that you can either eat there, take with you or have delivered. Our client’s vision is “Working hard to be the UK & Ireland’s best-loved restaurant company”. To get there, it’s focused on delivering the brand promise of “Making delicious, feel good moments easy for everyone”.  Our client works hard to continue its success and leadership position by being truly customer focused in its decision making.

The Consumer Insight team is one half of “The Business Strategy and Insight Department” (BSI) which exists to support the UK Vision and drive competitive advantage for our client’s UK & ROI by ensuring consumer and business insight drives Strategy and is at the heart of Planning and Decision Making at every level within the business.

BSI holds a unique and influential position within the business which means it gets involved in many business critical decisions and works with a wide variety of departments including: Marketing, Food Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer services, Corporate Communications and various agency partners.

It is a fast paced, supportive, demanding and at times high-pressured environment.  This position offers an amazing opportunity for someone to learn new skills in research and strategy, gain invaluable client side experience and make a tangible contribution in helping grow one of the World’s most successful brands.
